A complex nose of red and blue fruits and an abundance of spice and floral notes including liquorice, white pepper, chai tea and rose petals.
A cool climate spice lift with violet, black pepper and blackberry fruit on the nose. An elegant and refined palate with savoury dark fruit, bitter cherries and fine tannins. Although only medium weight, it is long, intense and classy with a beautiful savoury persistence.
Vibrant red fruit flavours on a medium bodied palate. The fine integrated tannins draw out the flavours for a long finish. A classic Bin 0 that will drink well now with food, but will benefit from some more time in bottle.
Drink it with a gamey meat dish such as rabbit stew and waxy potatoes or braised kangaroo with roasted beetroot.
This Shiraz will also go beautifully wit a roast loin of lamb with prune and pine nut stuffing.
